BMW or Bayerische Motoren Werke AG in full is a German manufacturer that originally worked on aircraft engines from 1917 until 1918 before transitioning more into luxury cars and motorcycles. The company then worked on aircraft engines again from 1933 to 1945 before staying on cars for good. BMW is now a huge brand that has produced nearly 3,000,000 vehicles over the years and was ranked the 14th largest motor vehicle producer in 2017. Their cars aren’t just sold under the name BMW either, they also distribute cars for Mini and Rolls Royce.
