Aston Martin is a british manufacturer that has been around since 1913, founded by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Lionel and Robert originally worked out of a small London workshop before their passion for cars set them aside from the competition. Throughout this progression each car grew more powerful, comfortable and fashionable, distinguishing the brand we know and love today.

Aston Martin is now renowned for creating expensive grand touring cars, but it hasn’t always been this way. The 1950s and 1960s was when Aston Martin started transitioning into the sports category. Of course, James Bond using the Aston Martin DB5 model in the 1964 hit film ‘Goldfinger’ exaggerated this transition dramatically.

Today, Aston Martin is considered to be iconic for the British culture and even holds a royal warrant to supply the Prince of Wales with motocars and has done since 1982. With over 160 car dealerships in 53 countries, its clear to say it is a huge international brand.
